Right wing groups are out in Pakistan to kill the democracy

In the current political situation of Pakistan, the extremist right wing political parties of Pakistan are prolonging rifts in the democratic government of two major political parties of Pakistan for a long time. Remember these parties lost elections badly and the people of Pakistan rejected their agendas.

In the current political scenario these parties in the name of independence of judiciary have abused the current judiciary for their own political goals. For years these parties have supported the Taliban and Islamic extremist militants in FATA, NWFP and its nearby region. Qazi Hussein Ahmed of the Jamat-e-Islami and the Cricketer turned politician Imran khan’s Tahreek-e-Insaaf top the list.

These parties do continuously condemn bombing safe havens of
Taliban by drones and are spreading hatred among the people. These parties also criticized the action of the armed force for the writ of the Government in Swat and Bajour, as the armed forces tried to bring law and order back to rails and killed Talibans in the process.

Qazi Hussain Ahmed’s Jamat-e-Islami’s relations with the Afghan jihad warlord Hikmatyaar are not hidden to anyone. For a long time young activists of the Jamat-e-Islami, related to different factions of JI such as Shabab-e-mili, PASBAN and Jamiat Tulba Islam were being trained in Jamat-ud-dawa camps. Meanwhile Imran khan’s preachings against the armed forces of Pakistan to the youngster’s are on the record. Campaigns in the cyber world and in media are being launched by the Tahreek-e-Insaaf as a propaganda tool against the armed forces.

The arrest of the Lahore attackers from a student hostel have roots to this propaganda and militancy. There are concerns that the some of the trained militants of Jamat-e-Islami or Tahreek-e-Insaaf would try to damage the Democratic government in Pakistan using the protest rally for their sick goals. So a democratic government in Pakistan after such a long time can be ended for their extremist ideological goals of handing Pakistan to Talibans. The joint heads of these TWO controversial parties is a threat to National Security.

Musharaff was more competent than the clowns running the country at the moment. What good is democracy when the ruling parties are more corrupt and incompetent than the dictator they replace?

He brought the country out of the corruption caused by corrupt "elected" leaders and created a great deal of infrastructure growth. If only he could respect the Rule of Law, he'd be one of Pakistan's greatest leaders...not saying much, but you take what you can get.

If this long march is happening for political reasons then it is wrong but if it is happening for bringing justice in Pakistan(Islamic state) then it is a good step.

Pakistani military needs to sit back and watch these failed politicians slug it out, and then move in for the kill: A coup where the existing feudal politicians are banned from politics for 20 years, and the system is replaced by a military-backed civilian admin that sets to execute a defined agenda of nation building. This task must include permanently ending US political and military interference in Pakistan and a clear demand from Islamabad that Washington also stop its failed and disastrous experiment in Afghanistan.

I was so pissed when everyone was cheering and saying "PAKISTAN! DEMOCRACY!!" when all the votes were bricked. You know the government is corrupt when a criminal is running the country, a criminal who was imprisoned for corrupting and robbing the same country he is ruling. He doesn't even know how to communicate properly!

Not sure how long it will last.

Not at all a fan of Musharaf but at least maybe he can keep the Pashtun tribes in line. He was lesser than current evil.

Unaiza ! Sorry perhaps my opinion is a little different then yours. If he was dictator then he was the most liberal dictator in the history of Pakistan. He ruled This country for 8 years but in these 8 years i found him as a leader of the Nation . whatever he has done is for the sake of the nation .

His tenure was Golden in the history of pakistan . Cause he was and is loyal to Pakistan.

Pakistan comes first.

Musharraf would've sorted this Sri-Lanka/Mumbai incident with a snap of a finger and pointed at the right direction on where the problem is coming from.

He was at least more eloquent than Zadari. Zaradari makes Dubya sound like Cicero. Musharraf was possibly the best leader Pakistan had in a while. He made a few mistakes, many which came back to bite him in the ass. The man at least had vision.

salamu a3laykum to muslims and peace to non-muslims.

Well i would say that current Democracy prevailing in Pakistan is not allowed in Islaam so we should try to either change it into a form where it become theocratic democracy (some what like of Iran but ofcourse Sunni way of life with it) like of a Khalifaah. Because current Democracy says we are only answerable to people, so its like a Shirk, when we should be able to answer to Allaah as said in Qur’an:

inil hukmu illa lillaah

Or either we should leave the Democracy.2ndly, on the concept of long march for Justice is not abad idea but it should be the Justice of Allaah’s ruling. I am sure that if they did half of that work (peaceful long march) for bringing the Shariyah ruling (justice) they would have make it. But anyway i would say Tahrik-e-insaaf is the party that deserve a chance upon pakistan, because we have seen others and we didn’t see any change, so we should give a chance to Tahreek-e-insaaf.

Lastly about Talibaan, Talibaan are not bad people its just liberals are making them bad plus the media which is in control of West. Sadly, we see that most of Pakistani media only use the name as ’terrorists’ for them when few years back the same people were mujahideen. If only western media uses these fake terms we would have no problems since non-muslims don’t want to see Shariyah and Islaam coming back into our lives but sadly our Media use these terms too, we should avoid it.

If Talibans are not the real thread ! Then who are ! the armed forces of Pakistan. Give it a Break. Our enemy is Taliban . we should not have any other opinion in such a open matter. We should have to understand the circumstances we are facing now a days . National Security is at stake due to Talibans. and our own people are justifying them .

Its strange.

Asif Butt,

Salamu a3laykum (hoping you be a muslim, insha Allaah)

What did Taliban do to be real enemy, calling For shriyah? They only desire to see the law of Allaah upon their own people? Is that why you calling them enemy? So Taliban are usually talking about Submitting ourself to Allaah. I dont see Taliban as a threat at all. Allaah says in Qur’an:

‘And say to those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and to those who are illiterates (Arab pagans): Do you (also) submit yourselves (to Allaah in Islam)?’

(Aal ‘Imraan 3:20)

Allaah says in another place in Qur’an:

“And this is a blessed Book (the Qur’aan) which We have sent down, so follow it and fear Allaah (i.e. do not disobey His Orders), that you may receive mercy (i.e. saved from the torment of Hell).

(al-An’aam 6:155)

I don’t see even Pakistan armed-forces as a threat. These are the forces (armed forces) and these are the same taliban that fought against India in different wars. These are the same Taliban that fought against USSR. So i say that now we (current govt of pakistan) are acting like a slaves of west, whatever they command to our govt and they do it. As far Armed forces goes, they are the people of ’yes or no’ so if you (govt) ask them to go for it and kill they would abide by the law. I would like to see that what Islaam says to do, so do it. And what Islaam forbids the people should forbid from it too. We need to change our Armed forces moto from ’yes and no’ to Yes to what is right and No to what is wrong.

Why did the Swaat is becoming Stable and peaceful now after such bloodshed from both sides, only because of starting to conversate with people and trying to persue for shariyah (one way or another), unless and untill we use the same method we can’t go for peace in other regions. The problem on National Security is today that any group would come and using their western interest, do some actions to harm our society like Incidents of Lahore, and the blame would fall in Taliban. This is because Media using the Taliban for literally anything (for any of terrorism). Indians blaming that Mumbai attack was Taliban or Lashk-e-tayyba’s faults when they (lashkar) denying it. After 9/11, America blaming Afghanistan for 9/11 when they (Taliban of Afghanistan) denying in it, not only that but for a sake of Lie and conjecture America attacked on Afghanistan and also on Iraq and destroying them completely. So i would ask you to be more thoughtful when you just go against Taliban because of any of your reason. First ponder upon it and try to evaluate and then make your mind up on issue based on solid evidences and not mare on conjecture. Allaah says in Qur’an:

Most of them follow not but conjecture. Assuredly conjecture can by no means take the place of truth. Lo! Allah is Aware of what they do.
